I have a very unusual background which includes mathematics, business, theatre and improvisation: I studied actuarial science at the Université Laval in Québec, Canada and worked for a large actuarial consulting firm in both Toronto and Montréal for 4 years after college. I then moved to New York to study acting at the American Musical & Dramatic Academy where I completed a 2-year acting conservatory program. I also studied improvisation in New York, Los Angeles and Philadelphia.
After pursuing acting and directing for a few years in New York (Ray Donovan, Revenge, Law & Order, Sex & the City, Unfaithful among others, as well as extensive stage work), I joined the analytics department of Razorfish, the digital agency which is part of the Publicis Groupe. There I was responsible for developing campaign measurement strategy, research projects and the presentation of data-heavy material to clients in a clear and engaging format.
While at Razorfish, I started developing presentation skills workshops to fulfill an unmet need. I have since developed and led workshops for thousands of attendees in cities all across the US. I have also coached many presenters individually to help them improve the content, design and delivery of important presentations. Finally, I have consulted with various teams across different offices and companies on how to improve the quality of the content of their presentations, the clarity of their stories and key messages, and efficacy of their staff’s delivery.
I have worked with the following companies:
- Netflix
- Sapient Razorfish
- DigitasLBi
- FullScreen
- New American Leaders Project
- CMI/Compas
- The Moxie Institute
- Spark 44
- Publicis Healthcare Group
- 4D
- AdLoop/4A’s
I now live in Los Angeles, California and work as a presentation skills trainer, Excel expert and actor.
